The Informed (the seller part 1)
Data, data, data. The new mantra of the real estate market. With the large swings in the market that we have seem lately it is increasingly improtant that you find a Broker that understands what is happening and is able to giude you thru to a confident and informed derision.
Getting and understanding the data is the single most important factor when selling your house. It is important to take some of the emotion out of the decision process, if you don’t you will be in for a roller coaster of ups and downs. A good Broker will know what data is out there, what is relevant and will explain it in a manner that makes sense to you. HG has worked in the Napa Valley real estate market for many years and has seen the harm that the incorrect pricing can and will do. I will work to make sure that you get the maximum price possible for your house, while never sugar coating the facts.
- What is my need?
Your timeline for a sale is important. DOM (day on market) is effected primarily by price. the more money you want for your house, relative to other comparable homes, the longer you will wait to get that money.
